I call them "primitives" because each one involves one primary focus such as:

1) Bending forward

2) Bending backward

3) Bending to the side

4) Twisting/Rotation.

5) Lengthening (lengthening the spine, legs, etc.).

And you can use them to

- relax your neck and shoulders

- drop back strain

- Open your breathing and calm your nervous system

- Open your hips joints, feet, and knees while standing.

And on and on.

I think you will be stunned by how many different movement variations you will do and how relaxing they will be for you.
